Top 5 Air Travel Apps on iOS in Sweden: Q3 2024

In Q3 2024, the top air travel apps in Sweden on the iOS platform showcased varied performance trends in terms of downloads and weekly active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

SAS – Scandinavian Airlines saw a decline in downloads at the beginning of the quarter, dropping from around 6.6K to 3.8K by early August. However, a recovery was observed towards the end of the quarter, with downloads rising to over 5.3K by late September. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at approximately 13.1K and dipping to around 10.1K before climbing back to 12.3K.

The Norwegian Travel Assistant experienced a steady but gradual decline in downloads from 4.9K to 3.9K in July, with a slight resurgence in September, reaching 4.5K. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 11.3K and decreasing slightly to 10.1K, before ending the quarter at around 11.1K.

Ryanair had a more pronounced decline in its downloads, from 5K at the start of July to a low of 2.6K by the end of August. A mild recovery was noted in September, with downloads reaching 4.2K. Weekly active users decreased from 21.7K to 18.6K by August end, but improved to 21.1K by the end of the quarter.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker showed a peak in revenue in early September, hitting about $8.8K, before tapering off towards the end of the quarter. Downloads saw a decline from 3.8K to 2K by the end of September. Despite this, weekly active users remained relatively high, peaking at 41.8K in August, and closing the quarter at 30.1K.

Lastly, Lufthansa maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 1.9K in early July and ending at 1.7K in September. The app's weekly active users also demonstrated stability, starting and ending the quarter at approximately 10.4K.
